does anyone else think that Princess Di's son's are just adorable????
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but I think both are so handsome, especially Prince Harrry in recent years....he sort of reminds me of a reddish haired Matt Damon, for some reason. William, my honest opinion, looks JUST like his mother. But I can see some of both in Harry. What's your opinion???
I think both have done a great job in staying out of mainstream news in the years since their mother's death, and admire them greatly for it. Do you agree?? I do feel badly for both, however, in having to lose their mom at such young ages. I loved Diana,.saw that she was a wonderful mom, and often think of her boys, and how they feel about it all.
And I have heard them speak on behalf of her, and they sound quite intelligent, despite their young ages.

I also think she would be very proud. The oldest one reminds me of her. I think prince Henry reminds me more of his dad, but we won't hold that against him. It is ashame that she died so young and didn't get to see them grow into young men.

Harry hasn't exactly kept himself out of the news. There was the pot smoking incident, the Nazi Halloween costume, and one or two others.
They are both good looking guys. I think Harry gets better looking and William's looks decline with age.

I agree they are great looking, handle themselves well with the media, and she would be so proud.
I have two adult sons, just slightly younger than Wills and Harry, and I am sad for Diana that she has missed all of the last few years. She seemed a good, loving Mum.______

She would have been so proud of her son's! Personally I hope they skip Charles for the throne and William is England's next King!

I couldn't agree more!!!! She was like a "breath of fresh air" to the royals, something that had been missing for a long while, and I believe he would make a wonderful King, as he not only looks like her, he seems to have her personality traits, too!! He strikes me as a very educated, honorable, and classy young man, not stuffy and too wrapped up in the old ways of "unquestioned tradition." Just like his mom, I think that's why so many millions of people loved her, she was just herself and didn't really care a lick what other people said or thought about that. So many could relate to this woman, b/c she never presented herself as a "stuffy, dutiful" royal, but only as a regular person with a very kind and caring heart.

I think William is handsome and I also think he looks just like his mother, thank goodness.
I think Harry look just like his dad and what a sad thing that is. JMO.
Not sure how proud I would be if it was my son.Harry hasn't exactly kept himself out of the news. There was the pot smoking incident, the Nazi Halloween costume, and one or two others.Last edited by EmilyD; 09-22-2008 at 06:42 PM.

I wouldn't exactly be proud if that were my son, but kids, and young men/women do experience growing pains. I remember drinking alcohol at the age of 13 for the first time. Granted, I didn't like it, got very sick, and it was many, many years until I could be a "responsible" drinker. So I don't hold it against him, the media just happened to be there at the time, watching every move he makes (along with his brother). I think that's why Diana was labeled "shy Di" for so long, the media circus was just too much for her in the beginning. I know it would be for me.
I don't think it's all that terrible. To cite an example, I would be absolutely ASHAMED if Lindsay Lohan were my daughter. She's been in rehab how many times now, before the age of 21 or 22?? And she pretends to be a role model for young girls and women?? I think that's much worse. And Britney Spears, oh, I won't even go there, I just wouldn't stop for days.
Please don't think I am being negative about your opinion, I'm not at all. I just don't agree that Harry's antics were anything that major, IMHO.

I agree ... Lindsey Lohan and Brittany Spears are any parent's nightmare.I don't think it's all that terrible. To cite an example, I would be absolutely ASHAMED if Lindsay Lohan were my daughter. Lots of people think smoking pot is ok, I myself don't. I think the swaztica was VERY poor taste for anyone .. but esp a "royal" who should be sensitive to that type of thing. Someone .. some adult ... and he should have lots of them around ... should have been able to prevent him from indulging in that bit of poor taste.
Was it "BAD"?? As compared to Lohan and Spears? Not really ... I still would not be proud of his behavior.
Not at all, we are all entitled to our opinions. Please don't think I am being negative about your opinion, I'm not at all. I just don't agree that Harry's antics were anything that major, IMHO.Last edited by EmilyD; 09-22-2008 at 07:32 PM.

30 years here but I'm with Lady V. They are very handsome and carry themselves well, like royalty. I think Diana would indeed be very proud.
