I'm new too!
Hello Everyone... I'm a single gal who has been dreading the "B-word" for several years now, but at 3:45 this morning, I decided that I can no longer spend the rest of my life in this financial quicksand!! I immediately signed up 'cuz I need y'alls help!
I want to try this "no-spend" and "CC debt" countdown that I see on everyone's signature...
Where do I start???
Thanks in Advance!!
~Alam

How did you hear about frugal village? a link this morning
What interests you here? to be debt free (and lose about 50 pounds)... and learn how/what to cook (my kitchen is used as storage/office space... d'oh
What will you contribute? ... yet to be discovered
Do you know any other members here? Nope
How many kids? Ages? 3 Yorkies, do they count?
Occupation? government
Married or single? single
Interests and hobbies? no one believes me, but I crochet... and do arts'n'crafts... I volunteer for several organizations, and I go "out" a lot which will have to be moderated now that I see that most of my money has gone to new outfits and cocktails...Last edited by Alam; 09-21-2008 at 11:13 PM.

Glad you joined us." May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

In user cp (upper left hand corner in darker blue strip) you will see where you can create your own signature. That's where you can type out your goals and update them as you kick some debt butt.
Good luck!

Welcome!! If you haven't read Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover, I would recommend RUNNING
to the library and checking it out. It really helped me in my journey. Good luck!
Debt free thanks to Dave Ramsey!
