Out of Gas
Is anyone else having trouble getting gas? Last night I had to take my son to get gas in a jug because he had been all over town trying to find gas and was afraid that he was going to run out. We found 2 stations with gas. They both had lines out to the street and had 10 gallon limits on gas and only had 1 kind of gas. This morning my sister called and said another gas station had gotten a load in but of course the two that had gas last night are now out. What makes it bad is everyday on the news they give us a different excuse as to why this is happening in the southeast. This is so frustrating.

We are in the same boat in TN. It's not as bad as it was the weekend of the 12th-14th, but some are still out or run out quick. The grocery store below work closed at 12 on the 12th and didn't reopen until later that week. Then the other day when I left it was roped off again, but this morning they were opened. Of course they haven't had premium since the 12th, which is all they had from 7 that morning when they opened til they ran out.

It may just be the Southeast because of all the recent hurricane activity in the Gulf.

Not sure of the exact details but I believe that there was a problem of some sort with the pipeline extending from NJ to the southeast. Check CNN I think that is where my husband found the story. My FIL called us Sunday night and told us to keep our tanks full in case the problem got worse, he had seen a blurb on the news, but they are keeping it really hushs-hush, I guess so people don't panic.

I haven't noticed here in south-central Ohio. We don't live in a very large population area. I will check out prices when I go into town later.

I noticed several stations had bags on some of the nozzles over the weekend. Seemed most stations were running as normal though. I haven't had any problems, but was told some stations were/are limiting amounts. Regular was $3.959 at the station I stopped at yesterday.
