Default You can really feel fall in the air

This morning it was down to 48 and foggy so it was/is cold. I know that is really not cold but compared to what our weather has been, it feels cold! I love fall. The only thing that this means before long the heat is going to have to come on. Also I realized that 3 months from today is Christmas Eve. Acks!!!

I think the high here today is supposed to be 71. I do love fall, it just makes me cold because of the change is so quick here.

This week doesn't feel like Fall in our area. Yesterday was 80 and today is suppose to be 80 as well. I'm hoping it starts to feel like fall soon, I love fall.

Yup, Fall is definately here. The windows are open, light and fresh air coming in and I have only one fan put away. So will put the fans away, and finish up all the other things that a change in season brings.

I'm ready for Fall. We were teased last week when Ike was blowing through but now we're back into the mid-nineties. I guess I should be thankful we are out of the triple digits.

I'm in LOVE with the fall weather we're having.

I wish it would last longer than a couple weeks too.

Heck if I could find a place that's fall-like much of the year, I'd probly drop everything and move right now! lol

    thanks for sharing!

I was just thinking about this this morning! It's been in the 40's here every night for about two weeks now. It warms up to the upper 60's to mid 70's and has been sunny, but there is still that fall bite to the air. The leaves are starting to turn too!

I have so much to do to get ready for winter! We need to get the a/c unit out of the window and put away, dig the potatoes and onions, etc.

I'm chilly today so I decided to make a big kettle of homemade veggie soup for supper!

Feels great, and wow is the tree's starting to change color's. It sure is going to be pretty in a couple more weeks, the oak brush turns the prettiest red, and the quakies turn a pretty yellow. The cottons woods are already turning and they look so pretty. What a wonderful display of nature, old mother nature really does herself proud in the Fall season. It may sound funny but I find that even the air smells different this time of the year. Like some of you have already said, I hope it last a little while as I am just not ready for the winter cold yet!

It is definitely an Indian Summer here in Montana! It is in the 30's overnight and into the mornings, and then warms up to the 70's by afternoon. The only part I hate is having to convince the kids that it WILL warm up by lunchtime and to NOT wear their heavy coats and gloves to school.

I love fall and it's in the air, the mornings and nights are on the cold, but cozy side. It's not time for the heat to come on yet, but it's cool enough to keep the windows closed or only cracked open at night. The leave are starting to change and the sunsets at 7pm now. It's the time we start to wind down, I think it's the cool air and the shorter evening hours of sunlight .

Oh yeah, it's going to be 75 tomorrow and down to 52 tomorrow night. Fall is my favorite time of the year also. I love putting on a sweat shirt, jeans and my boots and go outside and work in the yard. It's also my favorite time to decorate my home. So many warm comfy colors.
