Talking What Are You Doing Today? (9/26/08)

    Hiya Everyone,

I noticed we didn't have our daily "what's going on today" threads anymore. I missed them. Feel free to start up tomorrows (or any day).

day today, one that I would rather curl up on the sofa in my flamingo jammies with a blanket and a good book...

    Today I have to --
    ~ Make breakfast
    ~ Do dishes
    ~ Drive DD to school
    ~ Hold the Library class
~ Do laundry (lots of laundry)
~ Sort out the gift closet
~ Work on the blanket for the school fundraiser
    ~ Work on DD's scarf
~ Do some Suduko (need to keep the brain going)

If I get another pot of coffee in me, I may --
~ Sort DD's clothes and get them to the neighbor girls
~ Sort my clothes (maybe 2 extra pots of coffee)
~ Take a spa bath with a good book

Well so far I have gotten the kids up, made breakfast and packed lunches. I haven't had a good week and I'm tired and just feel drained! And I haven't had my Mt. Dew yet either LOL.

    I need to.......

travel to the next town for fresh produce so I can start my eating program

Do dishes and clean up the kitchen

    Clean my bathroom

It's raining here today and cold so I will probably not do much

Today (and tomorrow) we are having a yard sale to help pare down our belongs for our move in a little over the week.
So that that what will fill my day. Since we do not have a garage, I will have set up this morning and tear down tonight and repeat the process tomorrow. Luckily my DH is usually home during the day so he will be able to help me, but we are both running on little to no sleep.
I keep asking myself, why did I decided to have a sale instead of just giving it all to the Salvation Army. Then I remember the reason, we could use the money to help with moving costs.
I also need to put a roast in the crock pot and put away dishes.
I should also do laundry tonight.

Well today is my last day of work and then I get 11 whole days off

Anyway that means whatever else I get done is dependent on how fast I get everything tied up at work.

Dinner and laundry are mandatory daily things in my book as I have two growing athletic (read stinky) bottomless pits at my house. After that I'd like to:

~ catch up on the finance tracking ( my spreadsheet and my siggy here are WAY off)
~ get DH to put a couple more drywall screws in the ceiling and then maybe start to put on the first coat on the ceiling
~ bake something to take to tommorrow night's card game

The reality is if I get DH to put in the screws and mess some with the numbers that will probably be about it. .... oh and pop in and out here of corse

Today is a miserably cold and wet day. More of the same all weekend

Anyway, I've gotten the kids off to school and am online before I get into the shower. I need to get ready to go to the dentist.

I will probably stop at the library first and get the last book in the series I am reading.

Then I need to stop at the grocery store for some lemons to go with the fish for dinner as well as more Coffeemate.

After that I'll be doing general housekeeping: need to vacuum the hallway upstairs, the area rug in this room, dishes, laundry etc.

And when all of that is done, I am going to work on sewing fall/winter pj's for the kids.

    I'm not feeling so great today so my plan is to;

*Strip, wash and remake my bed
*Do one more load of laundry
*Some sort of workout, although it will be an easy one today
    *Clear off my desk, again
    *
    Highlight my hair
*If my car repair is done I'll go to the next town over and get it (fingers crossed)

Our senior class is having a chili supper here tonight before the football game and Gripey bought tickets for the 2 of us and daddy so we'll be doing that for supper (no cooking, yay!). I think I'll probably come home and watch something on tv while Gripey goes to the football game.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

*We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*
