Twilight the movie
I know that a lot of you have read the series.
I did when the electric was out. LOL (yes all four books in less than a week)
Anyway, the movie is going to be released before Christmas.
Here is a link to IMDB, and their info so far on the movie:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1099212/
What I would like to know from you fans is:
When you read a book you picture the characters right?
Well, what do you think of the people that they have chosen to play the characters in this film?

The one's they picked for Jacob and Alice are probably the closest to what I pictured in my mind. I figured Edward would be a little more blond.
I'm almost through with the last book. I should finish it tonight...just a couple hundred pages left, lol.

Most of the people in my mind were all much more attractive than the actual people in the movie. Especially Edward. The exceptions are probably Emmet and Laurent. hubba hubba!
I also expected Victoria to have MUCH redder hair.Last edited by tbs727; 09-26-2008 at 02:43 PM.

Yeah me too! (about Victoria)
The kid that plays James was in Never Back Down and he was pure EVIL in that movie.

I love Emmett and Alice! I think they are perfect.
I was also very impressed with the pick of Kristen Stuart for Bella. Have you guys seen the movie Speak? She is amazing in that, especially with her facial features. She can express so much without saying a word, which makes me think she will pull off Bella perfectly.
I was concerned about the guy they picked for Edward. But I've seen some of the clips on youtube, etc. and he's growing on me. I think he will do a really good job.McD

for some reason i pictured Bella as rory gilmore you know....alexis bledel cause she is soooo pale and pretty. i thought edward would be different too but that kid is a pretty good actor so we will see how it works out. the girl who plays victoria i have already type cast as too nice cause of her role on that what about brian show that used to come on so ill have a hard time seeing her as the victoria in book 2

I've not read the books but my 21 yr. old dd did and she is so excited about the movie coming out. She thinks they did a great job casting the characters.......she really likes the guy that played Cedric in Harry Potter.

DD/18 got me to reading them.
When the electric was out, she brought them over and said she had a bet to see how long it would take me to read them. LOL
She won. It took me 4 days.
BTW, Yes I sorta speed read.
Anyway, once the electric came back on, we were watching tv. DH usually skips the commercials as we dvr everything. Well, he saw a trailor of the movie. He is now reading book two. LOL
He reads really slow, but finished the first book in three days.

The woman playing Victoria, was on the show, Swingtown. If any of you watched that, she was Melinda.
The woman playing Esme, was on Grey's Anatomy. She was Jane Doe/Rebecca. She is also in the show The Ex List.
The man playing Laurent, was on House MD. He was the black dr vying for a job with House.
I really can't wait to see the movie.

This movie is all dd and her friends are talking about right now LOL. She said some of the girls are even planning to skip school the day the movie comes out to go and see it. I'm hoping to take her and her best friend over that weekend.
I think they all match except Edward. I don't know, he's just not as breath-taking as I expected him to be but maybe he will look different in the movie.
I too read all four books in four days LOL!S
