What's everyone up to for Sat....
Joe just left for work and Paige and I just finished breakfast. Now Paige and I are about to head out to Lowes for the kids build and grow clinic (I think they are building fire trucks today.)
After that (since it stopped raining for now) I am going to head to the farmers market and see if the lady that makes the homemade pickles and jellies is there and get me some Hot Pepper Jelly and get a jar of homemade pickles.
From noon to 3 I am most likely going to go to work. I told Jessica I would split it with her since she worked last weekend, besides it would be 3 hours of OT for me which will help since we have that wedding in PA to go to next weekend.
I am also going to get a room for the wedding and call and make sure that Joes' tux will be in at our local Mens Warehouse by Thursday since we are leaving either late Thursday night or by 7ish Friday morning.
This afternoon (most likely while Paige is napping I am going to go thru and clean out stuff that I don't want anymore and stuff that I don't need anymore and get another bag of clothes & other donatable items packed up so I can get them out of here.
That's all I can think of for now.
Hope you all have a great day. I'll check in once I get to work or back home.

Well so far I have eaten my toast and had my morning chat with my sis by choice(cmdarlin)! I have called my sister who is moving today and will be going to help her this afternoon. Need to go thru flyers and check sales before I pick up groceries today. My son has hockey tryouts at 6 so we will have an early supper and head to the rink. Hopefully I will get to relax at some point!!

We are having day 2 of our moving sale today. Yesterday we made $130 and we still have a lot of stuff left. Hopefully things will go well today. The more we sell the less stuff I have to take to the Salvation Army.

It's rainy

I'm sick and it's rainy

I'm here and I'm sick and it's rainy

Thats about all the excitement I can handle today. The upside of being sick is... I don't have to do the dishes! The Old Man has a thing about letting my germies get all over them.
Luckily I made a big batch of chicken, rice and garlic soup last night.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I'm going with my fiance to a picnic for his Phd program. He's the president, so I am helping set up and we made a salad to bring with us. It's pouring rain and it's on the cool side (jeans and light jackets today). The rain may keep some people away and that could work out to a short picnic and not a lot of clean up afterwards
.
When we get home, I will make eggplant lasagna for our dinner and then clip and sort coupons after I make our weekly grocery list. We'll do a quick grocery shop tonight and then wash a load of laundry or two (if we have enough quarters).

What are we up to.........well, dh is in the barn working on something, so it's quiet in here.
The dog is crashed on the rug and not begging from me-----makes it even better.
These moments when nobody's wanting something from me have taken decades to get here, and are still few and far between, so I am savoring the moment right now.

I'm going to put some beef/barley soup on in the CP, and make a small loaf of bread to go with, and I am going to listen to the ND game this afternoon. (no TV up here)______

We just got back from the Lowe's workshop (yup, it was Firetrucks). While we were there we got a couple of slabs of wood & a miter box to fix the back steps (FINALLY!). Got home & turned right around to take dd to her friend's house for a sleepover. Now we're home hopefully for the rest of the night.
I need to get next week's lessons lined up, work on Mount Laundry, and do the dishes.

Picking up the house this morning. Have to go to michael's and pick up a gift for a birthday party this afternoon. After the bday party my MIL is keeping both girls for the night. My dh left to go hunting last night so I'm looking forward to peace and quiet tonight. I have to study too. That's about it.
