It's been so blinking

hectic with everything since school started that I'm just now beginning to slow down and take a little "very little" time to just chill out and relax.

Since school started, I've been getting up at 4 a.m. to get to work by 6 a.m. so I can get a little work done before the first period of the day starts at 7:25. I am inclusion for 5 out of the 8 class periods each day and I have 2 self contained classes in my room. My planning time is 8th period but I have daily bus duty during dismissal. Soooooo, I never get enough time to grade papers, make out lesson plans, etc., unless I come early and stay late.

Anyways, what with one thing and another, I haven't had a whole lot of down time. So, I haven't been able to come unwind on-line. It's been a bummer...kinda like caffeine withdrawal. (That's a terrible image, isn't it?)

Here's claiming that I can come play every once and a while now that #1 son has found employment. I've missed chatting with everyone.

Ugh I feel so bad for teachers. They do some much for so little. All I can say is thank you

I don't think teachers ever get enough "thank you's", So I for one am saying thank you for all you do for the kids!

I know when I was home schooling my kids there never seemed to be a spare moment. It is a ton of thankless work, with no time to spare. I wished I lived closer to you, I would give you a helping hand.

Be sure to take time for YOU......you more than deserve a little time to call your own. Hope things settle down soon for you.
