    How did you hear about frugal village?
    I saw a link posted on a widow's support site.

    What interests you here?
    I have recently swwitched jobs, and need to change my lifestyle to accomodate the limited income.

    What will you contribute?
    Hopefully I can contribute in some way!

    Do you know any other members here?
    Not yet.

    How many kids? Ages?
    I have a nineteen year old girl and an eleven year old girl.

    Tell us about yourself.
    I'm a widow that remarried last year, and I feel incredibly lucky to have this life that I have now.

    Do you own any pets?
    We have a cat named Tokyo and a dog named Lola.

    Occupation?
    I am a self-employed Life and Health Insurance Advisor.

    Married or single?
    I'm a newlywed and very happy.

    Interests and hobbies?
    I love blogging and reading, and can't wait to travel more.

    My real name is Kathy, and I came up with my username just a few weeks after my first husband, Dale, passed away in 2002. I was a clothing store manager then - women's apparel.
    Since then, I decided to switch careers. After my second husband and I got custody of his then 8 year old daughter, we felt it was important for me to be able to write my own schedule. My older daughter needed me at home more as well.
    Unfortunately, many people see me as a salesperson only, someone that can be forgotten or blown off, and that has caused a few personal and financial dilemmas. I almost lost my house this past May, and I was paralyzed and afraid to make the phone calls I needed to make so that I could make a living.
    I come here hoping to find some good advice from other women like me!
