I Love Autumn!

I wore a sweater and pants to work today and sent the kids with sweatshirts. I put some extra blankets on the beds for tonight and I am ready to snuggle in! I love the cool weather of the fall!

I love autumn too! It's my favorite season of the year, unfortunately it's still getting up to near 90 here daily with lows in the low 60's. Pretty soon hopefully I can drag out our bed woobies (furry, warm blankets). Enjoy the cooler weather!

i had just been complaining about the high humidity and 5 days of rain. not anymore!! fall is here!! it is 53 degrees right now....we are going to have a cold front coming in for the next week anyways. yeah!!! still only a few leaves are down. only couple of trees are turning color. not peak here yet by any means. tomorrow am we are going out on the patio with my sweater, some bird feed and our fire pit to have our morning coffee. i just love this time of year!!!!

I love fall too. I can't wait to put the flannel sheets on my bed. The trees are losing their leaves around here and we are finally getting rain tomorrow night (we have not had any since March!)

Oh I so agree. I feel more like a mom during the Autumn does that sound weird? There's something about snuggling kids into warm beds and doing more baking and hot cocoa and yummy warm soups that just makes everything feel more homey. We are expecting a rainy, cold weekend and I have to say I can't wait for some cozy evenings with board games with the kids.

I beat you too it!!! I put the flannel sheets on this morning over the feather tic, then the down pillows and down comforter...ooohhhh I love the feathers!!!

That does not sound wierd at all, I too, feel more like Mom and it feels more like "home" durring the cooler part of the year for me too, I love stoking a fire in the wood stove, snuggling, hot cocoa and food and tea on the wood stove!!

Fall is by far my favorite season!! I wish it would last longer, though!! It's so lovely right now...golden trees, snow on the mountain tops...the crispness of the air. Just beautiful!!!

Fall is my favorite season and October puts me in the mood for baking/cooking.

I have the attic fan on because I love the noise and it feels 50 degrees in my bedroom now. It is good sleeping for me. lol

I also love autumn. It makes me miss living up north. I live in FL now and there are no color changes in the leaves! It drives me nuts!

I especially love that pumpkins are in the grocery stores and apples are for sale at cheap prices. They make for some yummy baked goods!

Fall is my absolute favorite!

Last weekend, I put the flannel sheets on the bed and the flannel duvet cover on. We've cracked the bedroom window each night and I've slept better than I have all summer!

Fall is my favorite season, too! DH and I were married in October so we would have a Fall anniversary. Early October is my favorite time of year because we always take our anniversary week off and enjoy the season together.

Here in New York its just starting to get those beautiful colors, leaves falling everywhere, pumpkins on everyone's doorstep, along with their Halloween decor. This is why I stay here, for these beautiful seasons. Fall being my favorite, but winter,summer and spring all are special in their own way. I LOVE NEW YORK!

I totally agree, Fall is the most beautiful season of all. The colors are really starting to show in all their splender. The canyon oak brush is the most beautiful red color, the aspens are so golden. The crunch of leaves under your feet, the nip to the night air, and the smells. I have a "thing" about the Fall season having a smell that is so nice. I have to wonder if its the soup simmering, the bread baking,and the cocoa heating to warm you up from the inside out! The harvest is in full swing and the hay is tucked in the barn, apples to be picked, pumpkins on the vine waiting to be picked and carved. It is just a truly beautiful season.
