Would you eat this?
Last night, I roasted an extra sweet potato in the oven in aluminum foil so I could have it for lunch today. It was too hot when I took it out of the oven to put in the fridge, so I left it, wrapped in AF, on the stove to cool a little. Wellllll, I went up stairs to help ds study for his tests today and never went back downstairs. I got up this morning and realized I had left it out all night. I did put it in the fridge this morning....but would you eat it?

I wouldn't touch it. Even if it was in foil, you're not supposed to eat anything that's been left out more than two hours or you'll get sick.
Maybe that's just my rule?
But yeah, I wouldn't eat it.

Heck no. I hate sweet potatoes!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I would eat it!! It's not like it's meat, or something that has mayo in it. It's a veggie. You could leave it raw sitting on your counter for a week and it would be fine, so what's the difference if it's cooked?

I would only eat if I could reheat it to high temperature. I am really picky about food safety. So if I could remake it into something that is cooked really well, I may eat it (or at least service it to my DH).

From what I remember from FoodSafe classes... once the cooked food temp drops below 120, it has to go. Maybe that was just because it was for restaurant use, but... personally, if it's cooked and left out (unless it's cookies, etc) I wouldn't eat it.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I've eaten potatoes that were left overnight, and I'm still here! It's not like meat or dairy, and if you didn't even open it, I'm sure it's fine.
