    Default New from NC

A friend of mine told me about this site (thanks Tara) so I thought I'd come check it out. We started our own business in April and though things are going ok if we don't start saving some major cashola I may have to go back to work, which will not work well since I am due with my second child in January.

    A little about me...
I have been married for 14 years and moved just a couple of years ago from California to North Carolina. I taught high school for 12 years and now I am a SAHM. We have one daughter who will be three in March and our second daughter is due in January.

I look forward to getting to know more of you and learning all I can about frugal living.

Hi, my name is Gina and I am new to this board as well. I live in the Charlotte, NC area and we are feeling the crunch and things are a little scary. This boad has really helped me out a lot. I have taken all the tips to heart.

I am a stay at home mother. I have two daughters (5, 2 1/2) and my hubby works full time. I work prn as a clinical social worker but really need to tighten up and pay off some bills. I foresee tough times ahead and maybe a lot sooner than a few years away. Things could get really bad in the U.S. within the year...

Thank God I have God in my life. He is definitely sustaining me.

Thanks for all the helpful tips and advice. We all need to stick together.
