This was actually my suggestion It's just crazy though, I mean what nerve and to not say anything as it's no big deal, it will cost a lot of money to level the porch now I do have video of her ice burnouts last winter, I went right out there I didn't care if they seen me or not, enough is enough. I have thought of calling child protective services before because of the foul language that is ALWAYS used over there, I'm glad we don't have children. I believe the kids are 16-19 (there are 4 of them) the dad drinks out in the garage most of the night and the 5 dogs bark for hours. Everyone else in my neighborhood is quiet. We understand they have mental problems but this is ridiculous.

Oh, I don't believe we can fence off the area due to the easement?

Time to hide a video camera in your house to 'catch them in the act' and take the tape to your local PD. Bad neighbors cause you so much undue stress- i'm sorry you don't live near decent folk instead!

Well, if they are foster children and the dad is drinking all the time and mom can hardly walk you may want to call. Unfortunately some people see foster parenting as a ticket to free money. Even though they are teenagers and can take care of themselves for the most part they deserve engaged parents. Teenage years can be hard enough with out having to be a foster kid living with drunk angry people.

You're right though. It is crazy.

I certainly would not know, but if you call the planning department for your local county they may be of some help. Explain the situation and what you want to do as far as putting up a fence or metal poles.

I think if someone actually comes out to do a survey type property line check, that can cost some money to you. They can help you over the phone. I have called about the neighbors fence which is in bad shape and he has a pool. I have not turned his address in yet but they would come out for that as it is a safety issue.

DH read this post and had some suggestions although could be costly but if this is going to be where you live for many years to come and the neighbor isn't going anywhere. He suggested some steel rebar put into the ground and a cement or brick wall on that corner of your house. If cement, then perhaps some cosmetic field stone ( stuff from Home Depot) not neccesarily the real deal.

A few times bouncing off a retaining wall may teach your annoying neighbor a lesson.

I also, agree with others about a cam if you can do so and filing reports, so that once you can get evidence you have the paper back up.

What an awful situation. File reports and document all the incidents, even if that means writing it down at the time of the incident. You can get a good outdoor day/night infrared camera for a reasonable price ( $100-150 ). It's a shame you have to spend time and money on the situation, but it sounds like the damage is going to continue. I wish you a happy ending.

Invest in a pound of nails and a good magnet. Toss the nails out in the yard where she is driving on your grass or even "plant" them in the ground for her to drive over and let her repair or replace a few tires from driving in your yard. The magnet is for picking them up before you mow, pick them up and then toss them back down after you finish mowing.

Another idea is to paint that edge of the porch an obnoxious color. Then, when it is hit, it will rub off on her car and it will be obvious that she is hitting it. Make sure to take pictures of the porch and her car each time. Also, if you have a digital camera, put the date feature on there.

A large concrete planter at the edge of your property by the porch would be pretty effective, and heavy. You could probably check with your city parks & rec office to see if they have any they're not using they could sell.

    Something like this: http://www.crowdcontrolexperts.com/c...-planters.html

That looks terrible and if it looks worse in person than that is really bad! I mean this is not damage to a fence or something. This is your actual home!

I like that painting idea too as a simpler way of proving that they are hitting your house. Keep that video recorder and camera charged at all times.

what jason said is similar to what i had thought of after reading ur post. lol, if u have a eye toy camera for the playstation 2 and downloaded the drivers then u would already have a web camera. the reason i know about this is b/c my ex (merrick's dad) and i used it to take pics of merrick or so i could talk to jason. this is a video my ex and i made with the eye toy a few yrs ago. merrick was about 9 to 10 months old there.
