The weather can be so unpredictable sometimes!

I woke up this morning and it was a bit chilly. That's normal for October in Calgary. After a bit, I went to take Dakota to school. We went to walk out the door and I snagged the umbrella because it looked like it was going to rain. In the span of about 2 minutes, the wind started to whip up so badly that it was causing the leaves to swirl around really bad. Alot of the dust from the alleys was kicking up and I got some in my mouth.

Right as we got to his school, it seriously looked like the world was coming to an end. These really ominous clouds came in and it pelted cold rain. I'd say the temperature dropped about 10 degrees Celsius in about five minutes. All the parents waiting outside were being pelted by the cold rain and some hail!

It kept going like that the entire way back home too. The wind got so strong at one point that it was blowing me back down the street! I'm not all that light either, but I am really tall (in my boots, I'm about 6'1" and I weigh 140lbs). I got the worst migrane too and it made me nauseous to the point where all I could do for two hours was lay on the couch and hope I didn't throw up.

This weather makes me wish I lived in the Dominican Republic or something.

Yea Calgary weather can be brutal...I was there once in July and the temperature dropped like that and there was ice pellets just like snow on the roads.
At this time of year with winter coming it would be nice to live in a warmer climate

And we're having a heat wave. I almost melted today. We don't have air conditioning here and it was 87 degrees at 11 AM!
