Default We got our first snowfall...and...

...the power went out!! It was only out for a couple hours or so...the snow was really wet/heavy. Earlier snowfall than usual...it's usually later in the month...

So, the power out means savings on the electric bill, right? That's frugal!

    Welcome Winter!

    That's the silver lining! LOL

It's cold here, but I'm no where near ready for the white stuff yet.

~Good for you seeing something nice in a power outage! We don't get much snow in coastal South Jersey. Last year we just got dusted twice. It is so very pretty though so I'm a little jealous.~

Um... enjoy! I'll celebrate your snow by sitting fireside with the lights off and sipping a cup of coffee while reading a good book. :winking:

Oh reminds me, the birds, sq's & chipmunks are really eating up a storm. Change is definitely in the air.

I am trying to figure out DD's Halloween costume... we know what she is going to be, but I don't know if I should make it big enough to fit over her snow suit

I think we are in for an early snow this year too.

I noticed this. I set out some hickory nuts and some sunflower seeds and the squirrels were fighting out there. They knocked over one of my feeders and broke it, and I have seeds strung everywhere. If it was not so funny, I'd be a little ticked!!!.
