There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.

I heard something on these lines
A billion seconds ago it was 1953
A billion minutes ago Christ walked the Earth
A billion hours ago dinosaurs roamed
A billion days ago nothing on Earth was walking on two feet.

And yet we have just lent 750 billion dollars many say that when the dust settles on this outrage the real number needed will be closer to 1.75 TRILLION how can we even fathom such numbers?
