    Default Women Voters

I think we all can agree that we as women (and men) are very lucky to have the privelage of voting and having a say in which direction our country goes.
Have any of you seen Iron Jawed Angles, the movie about the fight for women's suffrage? If you haven't here are some clips.

Alice Paul (Hilary Swank) in Iron Jawed Angels is force fed after refusing to eat. The women singing "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" are suffragettes who have been imprisoned for supporting the women's right to vote.

Alice Paul (Hilary Swank) and Lucy Burns (Frances O'Connor) have separated from NAWSA and Carrie Chapman Catt (Angelica Houston) to form the NWP which begins to protest by picketing outside the White House under Woodrow Wilson's Presidency.

Looks like a good movie. It's amazing what the suffragettes had to go through to win women the right to vote. Thanks for the links.

Wow looks like an excellent movie. Hard to believe that they had to go thru all of that for right to vote. We must remember that a exercise our right.
