Sunny Sunday
Good Morning Kids!

So far I've woken up, tossed laundry in, put on the coffee, scrubbed the tub (first time to clean new tub - woohoo!) as well as the rest of the bathroom, cleaned out emails and did a general pick up around the house. We had our 'gobble gobble' meal last night and I was able to bring leftovers home (mmmm...roast beef) to make for lunch so no cooking for the most part of today
I think I will crunch numbers to balance out my budget, hang laundry when its done washing and then watch tv for once LOL. Its odd...I used to be so on the ball about things and lately everything went all willy nilly. Now I'm back on course!
Just wonder what y'all are up to today?2012: The Year Of The Purge!

Happy Sunday Libby and everyone else. It's not sunny here we're getting
which we need terribly but harvest isn't quite finished yet.....I guess you can't have everything......
Gonna be a really lazy day for us. It's my day off from working out, and since it's raining we'll be staying in. I *might* mend a mattress cover that is leaking it's filling all over the place..... .
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

We have a beautiful day on tap. It is suppose to be in the 80's and very pleasant.
DS is feeling so much better. He is very weak still but beginning to get his strength back, slowly. He is down about 10 pounds from Tuesday, but has begun to eat some again.
Today is the last day the state fair is here. We are taking the kids again. I let them go off on their own while we are there. I mean, what 13 and 15 year old want to be seen walking around with their parents at the fair? However, we won't just drop them off at the fairgrounds. DH &I have to be on site. So, from around 1:00 until 10:00 DH and I will be people watching and snacking on really fattening fair food. Funnel cakes, elephant ears, fried pickles and fudge here I come.
Until we go to the fair, DH is doing laundry and watching Iron Man with the kids. I am just hanging out in bed and playing on the computer.
Hope you all have a great day!!!DD (19)

Walked to the grocery store. Made a point to look at the trees to and from the grocery store. They are just turning and are really so beautiful right now. Right now I am taking a break from packing. Even though I am not moving until november having the place in shambles is driving me crazy. I keep telling myself the more I pack the less things will be out.
So the kitties and I are enjoying the sunshine. In about an hour I will go back to packing. I am running out of boxes though.

I've been washing and putting away laundry all morning.
I finally finished bringing the rest of our stuff out of dd's closet and moving it into our new closet.
I tossed 2 grocery bags full of crap that I've found as I've been going through the closets.
I filled up a trash bag with clothes to donate.
I moved some toys from the office up to the playroom.
Dh is doing the grocery shopping (yeah!)
Dd has her cousin over to play today, so they are playing board games in the basement.
Other than that...not much.

I'm at work until 11:00 tonight. But tomorrow is one of the crummy holidays when the library stays open until 5 anyway, so being the nights and weekends person, I draw the holiday too. 7:30 - 5, working the shift alone. Yuckk. That means I can't leave the desk or have a break (well, beyond running to the bathroom for a minute) so when my assistant for tonight comes in later this afternoon, I going to take tomorrow's break and go to the library to return some books - one's an interlibrary loan with no leeway -- and look for something good to read on tomorrow's long, dull, almost no work to do shift.
Ok. That sounds weird. Leaving the library to go to the library. This one is a medical library. It's really cruddy karma to work in a library that doesn't have a single thing I want to read!Last edited by dcompton; 10-12-2008 at 02:42 PM.

Today was a pretty busy day for us.
Great weather! Reached the 70's.. 10 degrees warmer than normal for October in this part of the state.
Dh and I:
~ finished painting our new office (used to be the playroom)
~ put the second desk together
~ cleaned out the barn and garage
~ mowed the 3 acres
~ pulled weeds
~ started to put away all the stuff in the office... that one might take awhile to organize
I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I'm tired from mine.

Ahhh we actually had a pretty uneventful day for a change. The last few Sundays have been full of all sorts of busy things to do!
I woke up to find out that not only did we record War of the Worlds, but Spiderman 2! We left the HDD recorder on last night and DH shut it off at 6am, found that we got a 2 for 1 deal with the movies.
I spent the day preparing some things ahead of time for tomorrow's dinner, including the stuffing and boiling of the eggs to make deviled eggs. I was going to go to the store but I realized how nuts it would be today, so I delayed it until tomorrow. I got to watch Fight Club with DH earlier tonight, but stopped almost at the end to sweep and mop the kitchen. I gathered all the clothes and put them in the basement to be washed during the day tomorrow while the turkey is in the oven.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Today was fairly uneventful today. I did a live video chat with a bunch of my favorite artgals, watched some Battlestar Galactica, had dinner, hung out with my hubby and our pets. I really like when Sundays are low-key. They make a nice transition to Monday.
