Don't laugh, but as kid I was scared of the storm troopers in Stars Wars.

    Salems Lot

I remember being very young when it came out and there is a scene where the brother (aka vampire) is outside the window tapping on it trying to get the younger brother to come out....

Well... my bedroom was on the second floor and wouldn't you know that the traffic lights from the highway would reflect 2 red circles on my window!

I watched it recently... it wasn't scary, but bet your butt I thought about my bedroom windows when that scene came on again.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I have never been able to watch anything scary.

I have never watched a full episode of Scooby Doo. That show scared the poop out of me. All of the ghosts and mystery stuff was too much for me. Even when my kids were little I would let them watch it, but I could not. Still can't.

Escape to Witch Mountain was one of my faves as a child, but I always had bad dreams after seeing it. I still get the creepies when I see clips of it.

I did manage to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre with my best friend (who was a guy I grew up with), a couple of our friends, his mom and my dad. However, at the end he came and chased me down with a running chainsaw. Needless to say, I have never watched it again and I am so sure I probably had nightmares afterwards.

The Birds. That thing was on tv one time when I was about 6 years old. It freaked me out so bad my parents had to make me leave the room. To this day birds make me nervous!

I don't know the name of it. This fog would come in and surround a car. The engine would stop. The person would get out of the car to see why it wouldn't start and these things would get the person. That is all I remember about the movie and I was pretty little when I saw it on tv (like 4ish or 5ish).

There was a movie called 'Trilogy of Terror'. It was three movies all starring Karen Black. In the last one she worked in a museum and there was this little african doll that had this chain around its waist and when the chain fell off, it came to life and basically chased her all around the place. Scared the poo out of me. I was scared to walk in a room for fear it would come running out from behind the door or from under the bed.

To this day the idea of creepy little kid looking things bothers me. Gage from Pet Cemetary creeps me out as well.

Mine would have to be Fire in the Sky. That movie was awful, it left me so scared and to this day when we are in the deep forest I often think about it. The sad part is I wasn't a kid when I seen it, but it was such a creepy show that I never watch scary shows anymore. The only other two I remember was Carrie.... and Motel Hell! Those were the first real spooky ones I seen. I don't watch any at all now.
I just seem to keep thinking about them and they stay with me. I am worse than a little kid, and I don't do spooky things since watching Fire in the Sky! It was the end of scary movies for me!

I agree with Child's Play. Mom let me watch it when I was about 8 or 9... all three of them. She had explained that they were just movies...and I wasn't really scared during the movies..but afterwards I would hid under my blankets in bed not moving because Chucky was going to come get me if I did! lol

There's another similar movie about a girl doll who does bad stuff to the little girl's who own her. I watched only a scene or two of it around the same time and had nightmares!!! The thought of it still gives me the creeps!

I am completely flabbergasted that someone esle has seen Motel Hell!
    I loved that movie. lol

The only movie that has really scared me was the original Omen. That's where my love of horror movies stemmed from.

I saw Pet Semetary when I was preggers with my dd/18. They didn't want to let me in the theather, but my brother told them that I would be sitting there eating my popcorn and snowcaps the whole time. One of the managers sat with me through the movie. He said that he didn't want me having problems. When the movie was over, I told him that it wasn't that bad. I didn't even get scared and he looked at me like I was crazy. LOL

I watched Snakes on a Plane the other day. That is the first movie that has made me jump in a long time. Not because it was scary, but the part where the snake jumps out of a hole and right at the camera, got me. DH laughed, because he tossed his chips!

~I don't do horror but I remember being completely terrified seeing Jurassic Park. I loved it but it was so scary that I remember sweating, shaking and crying in the theater.~

When A Stranger Calls.....that one made me NEVER want to babysit when I got old enough, no matter how much the parents paid me. I haven't seen the remake from a couple years ago, but I may eventually watch it.....But never alone.

Another movie I love, but at the same time if creeps me out (probably cause the first time I watched it I did so by myself) was The Ninth Gate with Jonny Depp.
I still have the vcr tape of it somewhere. Might have to dig it & the VCR out and watch it halloween...lol
