    Default Hi everyone..

I haven't posted in awhile. Everythings new & moved and most of you know that me & the computers don't get along to well... yep I'm still trying. lol

Has everyone had their furnace checked? For some reason I did this year. Our furnace is around 10 years old, well they found several cracks in the heat exchanger.. if we would have ran it, we would all have ended up in the hosiptal or worse.

I always thought it was a waste of money, but that was the best $35.00 I have ever spent. Just thought I would remind people, its important to have them checked! Also put some money in your emergency fund, these things aren't cheap! I had no idea there was anything wrong, so it was a shock when they said we needed a new one.

Been busy, but I do try to get on everyday to see how everyones doing, so Hi everyone, and welcome to all the new members!

Welcome back & thanks for the reminder. We get ours done every year before we use our fireplace, just had it done 2 weeks ago.. We have a nice liner in ours now so just keep on top of things with an inspection & cleaning for around $80. Peace of mind is well worth it.
Glad you & your family are ok.

Don't mean to hog the post but what is a liner and how much does it cost? I ask because our house has woodstove and this could be of interest to us....fyi..my house burnt to the ground on Feb 9, 1979 because of a chimney fire..it was really devastating sp? to my whole family...
