    Unhappy Help! I'm being harrassed by a fly!

    I wish I was joking... but I'm not.

    There is one very very annoying and aggressive fly in my house. Why won't he die? We've smacked him with paper, swatted at him with slippers... even the cat has given it a smack or two!

    It's only ME and I can't understand WHY! I'm clean -- I can get out of the shower and that damn fly will try to blind me by flying straight in to my eye...

    If I am on the sofa, it will come up and bounce off my forehead. As I am sitting here typing about this he keeps trying to get to me.

    It would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating... and sometimes painful -- Have you ever had a fly bomb at your eye?

    What can I do to get rid of him? He won't die!!!!
    I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

    So weird that you would post this like the last couple days I've had one doing the same thing. We're supposed to get a good hard freeze soon and I am actually looking forward to the end of flies for this year at least!

    We have one fly that will not die also. My DD4 will run around trying to catch it saying things like you dont have to be araid or stop you can be my pet. I would be grossest out if it wasn't so cute.

    my cruel method for dealing with flies is spraying hairspray on them --little bit less toxic than bug killer. it freezes their wings.

    My DS has gone through 1/2 a bottle of hairspray today! Gee my house smells like Dove, but the darn thing is still buzzing away
