    Default Missing Being....

    Today I have felt more home sick of being an stay to home mom or even just working part time. I took a full time job that keeps me out atleast 10 hours a day sometimes nights and or weekends. I sure do miss being of being home more. Does anyone else feel this way? My DH sure misses me being home also.

    When I was working I felt this way a lot. It gets a little better, but you will probably always miss being at home. Although, now that I am a stay at home mom, sometimes I miss being at work, you know the days that are insanely crazy and the kids are just whining all the time!!! Those are the days that I wish I had a job to go to!!

    I understand... I've done the housewife thing...and the work full time thing... And I always seem to want to be doing the other after a few months... Probably a "grass is always greener" situation.

    I am taking the day off today so I can get the house caught back up again. I am going to enjoy it. DH really wants me to go back to PT but we are just getting caught up and getting ahead of the money game. So I guess that I have to stop wining and get out there and do what I have to do for now. Thanks for your input.

    It can be tough working such long hours. I prefer shorter hours even though I don't have kids. I've tried the 40+ hour work week & its not for me. It is a trade off... less money & trying to cram more work into each hour to get everything done, but I love my extra time off! Hope you can go back to PT once your budget allows.

    Oh yes I sure feel that way too I work part-time but long hrs. I'm on vacation this week to next week it will be hard to get back to the work routine.

    It felt REALLY REALLY GREAT to be home today. It rained all day so I did not feel like getting out. I stayed in my pj's all day long. I got alot done which I don't get to when I am at work. Maybe one day I can be home just pt but for now DH and I have to work really hard to get out of debt. If we can just get one car paid off then I can stay home part time. So for now we have to put our noses to the ground and work really hard.
