Tears of JOY
I worked all day in my shop ,cleaning and marking down Halloween merchandise.
I made room to bring in all the Christmas stuff I have been making at home. I have been crafting till my fingers bleed. I had only one sale today
. But on the up side a lady came in who bought something I had made just to ask me if I could make her 10 more! She wants to give them as gifts.
She told me I was amazing and was wasting my talents on this little shop. My heart needed to hear that. I pretty much felt like this today
I have decided to go professional and actually get licensed and get a tax id so I can buy wholesale.
It's crazy that in the mist of such hardship I can actually be happy. I think I am finding myself. Learning what I really want to do. In my heart I have always been a creator/decorator. I just never believed in myself. I still question myself and my talent, but the more I put myself out there the better I feel.
Three months ago I walked into a tiny little shop , my heart was pounding. I asked if I could rent space. It was that small act that has led me to believe in myself.
If you have a dream, GO for it! Just jump off the cliff because you never know what it may bring you. My leap has brought me courage, enthusiasm , hope and most importantly self esteem.
And so I will post this now, with Tears of Joy in my heart.

Oh , I forgot to mention that I have an appointment next week with the owner of a very upscale country living store to see my Rag Garlands.. I hope she likes them and orders a ton because her prices are crazy high so I can charge her more.
Today I have to drive to ACMoore over an hour away to get more supplies.
