What I didn't tell you about my visit from my parents this weekend...
Well, long story short - I used to work for my parents back when I lived in CA (2+ years ago). Had great insurance, paid by the company.
Anyway, I've been getting these statements from Insurance company saying I have a credit balance of $812. Mind you these statements are coming (every month for a over a year) to my PO box in Nevada. Parents come into town - and bring me a check for $812!!!! Don't know WHY the insurance company chose to send it to ME at THEIR (brand new) address in Utah. But they did.
Anyway - Mom & I had a blast shopping! I haven't had new clothes, socks, shoes for almost 1 1/2 years!
And - I didn't even spend 1/2 of it! Dell card, here comes a big payment!

Good for you. Glad that you got a windfall. Gotta love unexpected money, usually it is unexpected bills!

I'm glad you spent some it on yourself.
I got a windfall and have to use to pay bills now rather then the fun stuff I would have liked to have spent it on.
