I am so tired this morning no thanks to DH who woke up at 1:30am and decided to tape up boxes and make as much noise as he could doing it. Was so upset. I'm battling with allergies and even took medicine last night to help me sleep and then he did that. Now I'm tired, crabby and have to get ready for school. Have a test today to top things off. Darn men! I know he's stressing.... I am too. I just wish this whole thing was over. The TV reporter is coming over tomorrow to film their third story with us. They want to get film of how different the farm looks without the animals and us packing.
We have the storage unit now and will start taking things over today. We're hoping to get a few loads today and I think I'm going to be calling in 'sick' tomorrow to move all we can. The house is due to sell on Friday at 4pm. We're hoping to get as much as we can out of here. Still don't know where we're going to go. We can't really leave Missouri or he'll lose his assistance plus I am not going to quit school.
Just needed to vent.... I'm tired and crabby.

Debbie, I've been following your story and my heart goes out to you & your family right now and for months to come.
I cannot even begin to imagine the stress and worries you are going through with the foreclosure and then trying to find a place to live.
You are a very strong person and I truly believe that we are never dealt anything in life that we aren't capable of handling. Although sometimes it would be nice to not have ourselves tested with something like this.
I know you've heard all this before. But if you can live one day at a time, right now in order to allow yourself to get through this. I feel that only better things are to come for you & your family.
I admire your strength and resolve and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers every day.
(Oh & hide that darn tape!)

Debbie, I'm so sorry you're going thru this. Is there any way to get the state to help with housing - maybe something like section 8? Maybe moving to a lower cost of living area - within the state - will help out some too.
Good Luck.

I came home and still didn't get to go sleep until about 9pm. We had a guy come and buy some gates and a bunk feeder from our pasture, so at least I made a little money yesterday. Today the reporter is coming out and we're going to spend the rest of the day packing. Found out from the mortgage company that the grant people will only cover a one bedroom apt which DH is disappointed about. We get his daughter every other weekend and that means she wouldn't have her own place to sleep. At least we'll have a place.

Debbie, keeping my fingers crossed for you that you got a good grade on the test. I'm glad that you found out about the apartment. At least now you know that y'all have somewhere to move.
