Default I can't take too many more "hits" this week...

I am emotionally exhausted...too many sad and difficult things have happen these past few days.

I good friend of ours passed away, the memorial is on Saturday. I am so sad and upset.

Then Dd 17, ate a reeses pieces and had afull blown anaphylactic reaction and landed in Emergency on Tuesday. The last time she ate a peanut was when she was two! She thought the candy was a smartie (a safe candy we have in Canada). She did make it to the hosptal in time but it was too close for comfort for me.

Dh is a basket case about work (more employees were laid off).

And on top of it all we have been involved in a big community fundraiser this week and up to our necks with extra volunteering...and then to listen to others smuggly gloat that they had not committed one minute of their time to the effort makes me want to reach out and strangle their little necks (or my own for being stupid enough to say yes!!!). Can you tell I am on overload! I am becoming violent!

Thanks for letting me let off steam and rant... I hope things get better....I just need to get through Saturday.

    Oh my!

That would have me pulling my hair out. I'm so glad your DD is ok and hope your DH can survive the work layoff thing. Sometimes when you get hit, it's more than you can handle. Just take a deep breath and count your blessings.
