    Default can we use sheetrock (drywall) as chalk?

    does anyone know if we can use this safely with merrick as chalk. right now jason is taking the drywall down in the basement. tia.

    Don't know if it is safe, but I used it ALL the time as a kid, and I turned out completely nor.... well, hmm....

    Seriously, I was one of those kids who had to always be writing or drawing, and used that stuff all the time to draw pictures on the road.

    thanx. lol, now jason wants to know if you used a recipe to make it into chalk or used it as is.

    No, just peeled back the paper and got to drawing. I lived out in a very rural area, and off a straight road, so you could see cars coming from (literally) over a mile away. Was a great blackboard!!

    I also used to use it as a child. But I'm not sure health wise if that was a good idea or not. Had a great time with it though!
