    Smile Hello from North Central Illinois!

    Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while now and finally decided to introduce myself. My name is Brooke, I've been married to DH for 8 years and I'm a SAHM to my DD Morgan. I also attend grad school at Northern Illinois University. I am looking for ways to live a more frugal life and attempt to pay off my school loans. I have already learned so many tips from this wonderful site. I look forward to getting and hopefully giving more advice.

    I don't think I have too many local tips...except to watch Inboden's for meat sales! They are always so expensive, that I just kind of ignored them. But now, I check their website every so often, and a couple of weeks ago, they had ground beef for $1.69/pound! Other than that...Sullivan's on the south side of town, sets out their markdown items at around noon on Saturday (Check the back wall and side wall cooler cases and look for orange manager markdown stickers). We got a huge tub of yogurt the other day for 79 cents! Ok, that is about all i have to share at the moment!
