I'm off on an Adventure!
It cracks me up...my grandmothers think I'm crazy and adventurous because I do things that they never would have done, without thier hubbies. And I have to say, that I think it is hilarious! I'm just way to independent to wait around for DH to get on board with somethings! Ah, how times have changed!
So, I'm taking the kids on their first plane ride tonight! Should be fun, but a bit nervewracking, I'm hoping they don't totally freak out when the plane starts to move!
Dh is staying home, becuase he couldn't get vacation time to go with us to visit my brother in Seattle.
Last night, the kids had to say good-bye to him, since they weren't going to be up when DH left for work this morning and they both totally lost it! They went into the histerical, hiccup cry that only kids can do! I finally got the kids into bed and went out to the den and DH was grinning from ear to ear. It made him feel really happy that the kids were going to miss him that much! I thought that was pretty cute! Dh and I haven't been away from each other for more than a night in 10 years, so it'll be a little weird, but I know we are going to have so much fun, that I think I'll be ok!
So, we will be off this afternoon, and I'll be gone for a week! I'll may pop in once or twice, we'll have to see how things go!
Wish me some "frugal luck". I've saved plenty for spending on the trip, but I'd prefer to keep it in my pocket...so send me some frugal wishes that we'll find some good deals while we are there!
See everyone next week!

You are much braver than I. After my last panic attack on a plane, I doubt I will ever fly again. Just the idea of it raises my blood pressure! If I ever partake on this type of adventure, it will be by car or train, lol!
I bet your kids will love flying. They're too young to be neurotic like me.
Have fun!
