    What are you Thankfull for

As the big Thanksgiving holiday is approaching fast , and the economy is for some tanking, what are you going to be Thankful for?

I know I'm deeply thankful for my family - that is a given, what would I be if I didn't have family, even in the hard times , to deal with family members??

I'm thankful that my hubby and I have jobs that I hope and pray that they are safe from being downsized.

I'm thankful for everyone I know as they make my life better just by knowing them.

I'm thankful I try to bring up my children in a way, that less is better and to be thankful for anything given to you from anyone, the giver might have not bought necessities for their own kids.

There are sooo many things I thankful for everyday, I feel just blessed and I have a feeling of well being >> and to me that priceless!

I 'm praying for all to feel the same way I do. And I pray that everyone can find a blessing or 2 in every lesson we have to learn, be it a small lesson or a big lift changing lesson.

Here is my holiday cheer to all and my God continue to smile upon us.

This year it is extremely simply, my life.

DH and I were in a rollover last April, and I broke my neck. But I didn't die (obviously) and I had no nerve damage. Also DH only had two cuts.

I'm also thankful for my family who helped out during the worst of my recovery. *tears up thinking about it*

It will be a sober Thanksgiving this year I think.

Thankful for a nice new warm apartment, being able to meet all my needs. Friends who have supported me. Knowing that there is so much to be thankful for.

    Lot's of food

    My job
My new home that we will hopefully be moving into before christmas..

A basement with lots of shelves for my stockpiling (never had one)

Oh Katybug, I hope you are mending well, but what a blessing you are!, to be here able to type and read to keep your enjoyment ,in gathering with others . God is blesing you on your recovery ( it makes me smile ), take some time for yourself to be joyful even though you got a handful of lemmons, as It looks like, your making sweet lemonaide, out of a bunch of sour lemons you were handed.

I will send you a prayer or 2 or 3 . Thanks for sharing your story with us.

    I am so thankful for:

My husband, who can do anything he sets his mind to, has a good job and the willingness to dig ditches to keep his family afloat.

My church family, who will do anything for anybody who needs it and the wonderful friends I have there.

My extended family who bring laughter and joy, plus some grrrr moments but I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Oh Coco, thank you for your kind words! I was amazingly lucky, and I know it. I'm taking it one day at a time, but it is hard cuz everyone else in the family is going out and doing awesomely cool things (jobs, grad school, etc) and I feel left out.

Btw, fractured verterbrea? Doesn't hurt as much as you might think. Cervical fusion, HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL! Yea, I do try and keep my spirits up and I'm doing really well, really.

Be careful driving large vehicles in a (very) windy area, that is how we rolled, the wind! YIKES!

Thanks again for your sweet words!

I'm pretty much thankful for everything and everyone in my life and around it, I am not one to ever take even the smallest of things for granted. Saying that, some of the most important people and things I am thankful for are ...

My family, DH for his strength, courage, love, and the ability to make a fool of himself on purpose just to make me laugh. DS, for his innocence, love, carefree spirit, and the ability to always tell me my food tastes better than anything because I make it with love, and him never knowing how much that means to me.

My home. It's not much by anyone's standards but it's ours and it's sheltered us from the harshness of the world.

    My freedoms.

There are many more people and many more things. But these are the most valuable to my life.

Your words comfort me,as I try my best to make every day positive! I work for hospice and I see everything, for many it's too late to give another some uplifting or sprititual or emotional needs and I truly feel that being positive and kind is the fabric of life which on can weave a life into. And I don't care who you are what you do all that matters to me is that you are who you are and you are someone special. And you have made me smile again. and to me that priceless!!!!!!!
