    I found this link on a UK Christian forum I am a member of. FreeRice is a website with questions that improve your general knowledge, but every time you get a question right you donate 20 grains of rice to the UN food programme. It adds up quickly!

    There is plenty of information on the site about how this works, it all seems legit, and it's fun too! I got up to 1000 grains of rice in about one minute!

    To feed one person per day, 400g of rice is needed, and there are about 48 grains in one gram. If all of FVs registered members donated 192,000 grains of rice (which at my speed would take 2hrs 12mins), 16,365 people would be have full tummies today.

    Christmas is fast approaching, lets take some time out of our days to think of those less fortunate than ourselves at this time of giving and goodwill.
