I really hate cleaning....

the microwave. I was cleaning my microwave today and thinking that I would gladly pay someone else to do this. So what do you hate cleaning the most in your house?

I hate to dust, so I usually just don't bother. My BIL loves to write his name in the dust when he comes over

I hate cleaning the toilet....just because there are three guys here! yuck!

(just a hint...to help clean the splatters in my microwave, I first of all put a mug of water in there and set it for two minutes. It seems to create enough steam that it loosens the junk my kids can cause to be splattered on the top of the microwave. I just repeat if the splatter is really bad)

Mopping/vacuuming.

Seriously, it's gross. It grosses me out to watch what either comes up into my vacuum, or to watch how dirty the mop water gets. YUCK!

We also are bad at dusting the ceiling fans. One day, I had just vacuumed, and was pretty proud of myself. Turned on the fan, went to the restroom, came back and huge piles of dust were all over my clean floor. UGH! Yeah, I was so not happy that day.

I love my wood floors, but by the time i sweep and mop the whole house, the first room looks all dusty again. Our house sits a little lower then the street so i think its from that.

I actually hate all cleaning.

If I had to pick one thing, it would be sweeping/mopping. Laminate flooring is so hard to keep swept.

About the microwave, whoever suggested steaming is correct. Then, wipe it down with straight vinegar to get rid of that nasty microwave smell.

I use a paper towel to cover my food so it doesn't get so gross. What do they say...an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? It's true regarding micowaves!!

Dawn, I bought a big plastic dome/cover that you can use to place over whatever you put in the microwave. It looks like a cake plate dome cover. When something sweats or spatters, it only dirties the cover and not the walls of the microwave. Just wash the cover and no need to wipe the micro down as much.

I hate washing the kitchen floor most of all.

I hate all cleaning too, simply because it doesn't stay clean long and we aren't mess people!

It is just such mindless and boring thing. I would rather be doing a hundred other things!

I hate cleaning up cat yak. Our older cat has serious anxiety problems and his dinner often doesn't stay down.

Dusting is a lost cause. I only hate it because no matter how much you dust, the house always needs more dusting.

Ditto dishes and laundry.

Cleaning the stove is not high on my list but at least the glass top one I have mostly just wipes down.

I hate cleaning the fridge, just because of everything that has to be moved around, and the shelves don't fit in the sink and there's always some dried out impossible pile of something under the veggie bins.

I don't mind cleaning at all. I could spend an entire weekend cleaning and I don't mind at all. Nothing ever get's too dirty anyhow because I keep up on everything. And since I worked as a display artist for Art Van year's ago, I love to move things around when I am cleaning. Hmmm, now this thread has me thinking..lol

A hint for cleaning the microwave, I spray my home made cleaner in there sort of heavy, then zap it for about 10 seconds and everything wipes right off!!
(Cleaner-1 spray bottle filled with 1/3 white distilled vinegar, 2 table spoons of lemon juice and the rest with water)

I hate doing the socks!!!

Closely following that would be sweeping, mopping, & dusting. I really mind dusting, it just makes me sneeze and my eyes water so badly that it takes me a day or two to recover.

I also really dislike folding & putting away laundry.

I'd be happy to clean the entire house if I could just get someone to do my freaking laundry!!! It is really the only household chore that gives me a headache.
