I don't mind the "green" aftertaste of stevia, but I think this is worth a try. I'll have to keep an eye out.

I could be wrong, but I believe stevia is just made from the leaf of a plant.

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I meant that I've heard of people buying dried stevia leaves and grinding them up to use as a sweetner. I don't think commercial stevia goes though enough to call it processed...just extracted or something? According to their faq:
How is Truvia™ natural sweetener processed from stevia leaves?
Rebiana begins with a leaf, not in a lab. Stevia leaves are harvested and dried, and are steeped in fresh water in a process similar to that of making tea. This unlocks the best-tasting part of the leaf, which is then purified to make a food-grade product. The finished product is the pure sweetness of rebiana.

I think the different with stevia is that is is low/no calorie. Corn syrup, not so much.

Stevia is all natural. It's just the green leaves of a plant dried and ground.

asimplegirl,
It's all natural, not manmade. It is made from the sweetest part of the stevia leaf. You know that I am very careful about my foods as well. This will not harm your blood sugar levels either. I am very careful to keep mine where they should be. This does cost a little more than a box of stevia, but the taste is so much better. it does not have that aftertaste that regular stevia leaves in your mouth.
