Wow! Zachary Finally Walked Today!!
Oh my goodness...I can't believe it - I am on cloud 9 right now....
As many as you know, our youngest, Zachary, has Down Syndrome & has overcome many hurdles...well, today, he just added something else to his list.... at the age of 27 1/2 months, he walked 2 steps without any help at all....then he turned around, grinned & clapped his hands at all of the excitement that he caused
Just had to share my joy

A thousand hugs to him! That is terrific. DS kids usually have a difficult time overcoming gravity and walking is a big hurdle. I'm very happy for you all.The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

How wonderful! Congratulations! Our DD was about the same age when she first began to walk. That is so exciting, good for little Zachary!

I remember that moment my son has Autism and Cebral Palsy taking his first steps. I just balled, He was 7 years old, CONGRATS TO YOUR SON many more memories ahead.
