I Could Use Some Cheering Up...... (please)
I'm shamelessly asking for your words of cheer and prayer. Got some news today about a family member that just socked me in the gut. Totally unexpected. My knees got weak, and I about fell over even while talking on the phone.
Whether I'm in this virtual community or in my real community of friends, I try to be upbeat, positive, a person of faith, a person of reason and logic, a practical person....... At least, I think I do......
Now I feel really droopy, down, discouraged. It's so unlike me, and I don't like feeling this way.
So tell me something good, OK? Let me know I have some worth, something worth sharing, that I am adequate. I'll get over this news and eventually deal with it, but right now, I really really really need your words.
thanks.........Spiritual:

I think now would be an excellent time for you to check your status.
forHISglory is filled with joy, joy-ful, overflowing, really!
This is how I imagine you...smiling, happy, faithful, and genuine. You have inspired many, many people here at the village, and I'm sure that your touch reaches far beyond this virtual world and improves the lives of those around you.
Tough times do come. What do we do? We move on, and if we are you, we not only move on, but we learn an important lesson from whatever crisis you just faced.
As you have always been here for us, we are here for you.

Whatever it is that you found out, it does not change who YOU are and your value.

(((forHISglory))) I hope things get better for you and your family.
I agree with Amy. I know you and I haven't talked personally, but I have never seen anything from you here that wasn't helpful, uplifting and inspirational and I imagine that touches every corner of your life. You seem to have the kind of light that shines far and wide, a person others aspire to be. I hate to see that something has darkened your doorstep, and I hope your smile returns soon.

I am sorry for whatever it is you will be dealing with. BUT, here on the Village, you are such an inspiration to so many! I know that, just by reading your posts, you will move through this with grace, dignity, and humor.

Family can sock it to ya harder than anyone else IMO. As for you for HISglory.... more
. No one can be up ALL the time. If there was no down, we wouldn't appreciate the up. You do manage to be one of the upbeat inspirational personalities here at the village. Your posts are thought provoking and full of wisdom. Give yourself some time to process and I am sure you will recover your normal upbeat ways. In the meantime let yourself be carried.

~I'm sorry you've had some bad news. But try to not think about maintaining your positive outlook right now. Let yourself cry, get angry and really feel how you need to feel. Talk to a RL friend about the matter fully(or you are welcome to pm friends here, such as me!). I've been there, done that recently and it's really great being frail sometimes. remember, when we are weak, HE is strong. I'll be praying for you. Oh, and the Psalms are always a great encouragement to me when I'm down. (((((Hugs)))))~

I am so sorry you are having such a hard time right now. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You also need to know that at times crying does help, it is the pressure relief valve of the heart!
May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears,
And, above all, may silence make you strong.

We would not have the peaks, without the valleys.
Know that whatever this is that has brought you down to this place, your faith will bring you through it and you will be a better person for having lived & dealt with it.
We all go through times that we just don't think we can get out of bed, hold our heads up, or that a better day is coming. But we do & it does.
I will be sending lots of positive energy & prayers your way that whatever this is, that you are able to get through it quickly.

I can't imagine what you found out that would make you question yourself but I can honestly say I have never thought of you as anything less then an amazing woman. I imagine you to be someone who is wise, caring and supportive to everyone.
