I'm thinking about running away from home today LOL. The kids are out of school and 16 yr old dd is being a total GROUCH!!

I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep so I watched some Divorce Court LOL

Made dh breakfast when he got in from work

Got the kids up and we went to Walmart so dd could buy the new Taylor Swift cd that she will NOT be listening to be since she is being a GROUCH!

I plan to play on here all afternoon, then cook dinner and get dh off to work

Then I'm crawling into bed and watching tv until I finally fall asleep

BORING BORING BORING that should be my name!

Unfortunately we don't live near a dollar theater, or we would wait and the movie theather here really only keeps the movies up about a week or two before it might be gone....so it is now or wait till it hits DVD. We all loved the first Madagascar...I have seen some unfavorable reviews about this one, but I think the kids will love it anyways.

Finally going back to a routine now since boxes are all unpacked except for three which I will do at the end of the week. Went for walk and did laundry. Had the hot water turned up so now things can actually get cleaned. Have the sewing machine out. Yesterday made a duvet from some sheets. Today I need to make a blanket for the front door, adjust the waistline on a pair of pants, sew up some napkins. Once I get whatever needs to be sewn will try to teach myself to knit some socks. Not sure if I can get all this done in one day, but will start.

I had plans to get so much done, and then I managed to end up with a scratch on my eye. Talk about something that hurts! Mercy! It has been easier to just lay here and be lazy..which in a sense was very hard to do, than to try to keep that eye open. It is feeling a little better now, (it has drops in it), so I am going to try to get some cleaning done. My two boys are of no help, one is sick and the other is at his grandpas. So for the rest of the evening I will try to complete the following:

finish laundry (need to hang one more load - dries fast on the drying rack)
work on shopping list for Christmas supplies
check budget status - We seem to be staying on track
    declutter a drawer or two
    start supper
    grades papers
start looking at the garden catalogs
    check for black Friday ads
    go for walk with dh

I have a brother that even now, whenever my parents ask him to do something like painting...he would do such a messy job that my parents would then yell at him "just get the hell out of here". He would smile at me and off he would go while I would sit there and paint the house (or whatever else we were doing). Teenagers.

I got a late start today, but other than that it is a typical Tuesday.
So far I have cleaned the bathrooms, started the laundry, caught up on email, read the paper, and had breakfast.
This afternoon I will try to finish the unpacking. I am down to the last few boxes of random items, so it seem so be taking longer than I would like. I would also like to craft a little before making dinner.
