11/11/08 Totally Routine Tuesday
Nothing super exciting planned for today. I've been enjoying taking life back down to the routine, at least mostly anyway. I didn't even get to the grocery yesterday. I just didn't feel like it when I got off work. Instead I went straight home and stole an hour for myself with a book. Reading in the middle of the day....talk about guilty pleasures...
Today looks fairly routine and that's ok with me:
--Work- kind of overloaded at the moment
--I will hit the grocery today
--dinner
--quick straighten of the house (with the boys help I'm probably lookin at 20 minutes)
--make up some laundry detergent
--finish off the laundry
--prep some cookie dough
--lounge around with DH and the boys
Maybe I'll bake something or mess with the greenery but probably not.

What a rainy, dreary morning here! I walked in the drizzle, at least it was not cold.I'm having some coffee and drying out. I plan on baking some snickerdoodles and a brisket for DH to take to the Mason lodge tonight.I also need to clean and organize the pantry room. I am meeting a friend this afternoon and we are going to the club to swim.Later this evening I will wrap more Christmas gifts. I am determined that I will not get stuck doing this at the last minute. That will be it for me. Should be quiet tonight, with the house to myself and the boys.(my dogs)Have a great day!

Well, for me it is not my normal routine. My kids have today off of school (they had yesterday as well). I think my hubby is going to leave work a half hour early and we are all going to go see Madagascar 2 for a special treat (not very frugal I know).
I think we are going to make some Thanksgiving decorations and maybe make some banana muffins.
Tomorrow it will be back to my normal programming.

Well yds has school today. They do not get this day off here in Wisconsin.
I have laundry going, general chores are done. I need to work on dusting and filing. I hate those two things

It's not very routine for us today. Dh and oldest dd have the day off for Veteran's day. The boys have Odyssey of the Minds meeting this morning. Then after lunch I think we are building a volcano.
I have laundry & cleaning of the kitchen to do. Need to do more planning for T-day. There will definitely be some knitting and playing checkers too. My 10yo is obsessed with beating me at checkers lol.

I am going through all of my coupons and clearing out the expired ones.
Also, matching up a few sales with them and making a list of stores to hit this afternoon.
DS made us all our eggs for breakfast and now he is doing the dishes.
DD and DS will need to cut the backyard later this afternoon.
We will be taking a walk/jog mid-morning, mind afternoon and early evening. DS has to drop ten pounds for basketball so we are all working out with him.
At some point I need to get the garland hung on the fence along with the Christmas bows.
Looks like my nap will fall sometime around noon and will have to be shorter than usual.DD (19)

It is definitely a fairly routine day for me. I have a day full of meetings at work and then I will go home and cook dinner. I plan to do the fun job of cleaning the bathrooms tonight, baking some bread, and clipping my coupons from Sunday while watching Dancing with the Stars. And I might throw a load of laundry in sometime during the evening.

DH took Zippy to the dog park for me today ~ YAY! I've made breakfast, updated my blog, and that's it so far.
Not much on the agenda today:
go look for a card table
out to lunch with DH
general housework
Have a great day!Nancy

We just got home from the Veteran's day parade. DH had to drive one of the fire engines and we got to be on it to wave. It's a beautiful day today, chilly, but beautiful.
Now I'm making lunch and getting DD ready for her dance class. When we get home, I'll be making some cookies and then dinner.
I'm also anxiously awaiting the phone call that my friend has had her baby. She has had a rough pregnancy and is being induced today.

I 'm doing laundry using the homemade laundry I made. I love it.
Work is slow so i'm taking the day to organize, clean and get rid of more clutter.
I need to get some pork chops out for supper to thaw
This feels like a good day
