De-Lurking
Well I replied to my first post ever so I had thought I should introduce myself.
How did you hear about frugal village?
Can't remember which site I found the link on, but have been lurking for awhile......
What interests you here?
.I have read so many great things here, money management ideas, cleaning tips, recipes but what draws me in the most is the support and encouragement received by members from all you villagers!
What will you contribute?
Cooking tips/recipes for sure and a canadian perspective on many issues.
Do you know any other members here?
No.
How many kids? Ages?
2 boys 19 & 14.
Tell us about yourself.
I am a 40yr old woman who just this past summer quit her soul sucking job in order to find balance and sanity in her life. I have a very supportive DH, and great friends IRL who are behind me every step of the way. If six months ago someone had asked me to write my memoirs it would have been titled " Fat, Forty and Furious" ! I think I am going to enjoy coming out of lurker status and interacting with you all here.
Do you own any pets?
3 cats and 2 dogs, would be in trouble if my house were larger, I can't say no
to a cute furry face!
Occupation?
Many including but not limited to Trained Cook, Office Administrator, currently a Traffic Surveyor.
Married or single?
Might as well be married, ha ( his words) 10 yr committed relationship, common-law
Interests and hobbies?
_____Cooking, pets, reading, shoes and saving money................___
I'd just like to say thanks to Sarah and Gabe for such a wonderful free site, I have seen all the work you two have done over the last year here, its been extraordinary!
Thank You

Welcome!
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
