Stratford Career Institute ???

Has anyone taken any classes from Stratford Career?? If so did you find it helpful of getting ahead in your job or a new job? I would love to take some classes to get a degree in Business but the price of going to school is so expensive and I will not put my family into any kind of hardship. This program is little over $600.00. I don't quilfy for any help so I would have to pay for all of the bill.I would love to have some input for anyone.

I couldn't determine if they are accredited and, when I called and asked, I was never given a straight answer. I did, however, check them out on a few sites (scam.com and ripoffreport.com), and could not locate a single positive review.

Perhaps you could locate a 2 year college nearby that could offer you an accredited degree/certification program? You may even qualify for scholarships (and some colleges offer free/low cost programs for local residents). I'd hate to see that you spent money on nothing more than a piece of paper that has no real value (and is not recognized as 'legit'). Also, I contacted some "real" colleges (there are several near my home) and found that they will not accept credits from Stratford at all. One person @ our local 4 year college said Stratford is even on her 'Fraud Watch' list - - and that she has been advised that it is a scam and a diploma mill.

Thank you for the great information AuntSissy I just don't have a good feeling about them in my stomach. I am going to our local college and looking into some of the online classes. I just want a class that will help me improve my skills some of their classes start at $89.00 each. I guess this is the way to go for me. Have great holidays.
