    Default What are you reading?

I'm always on the lookout for new authors and books. What are people reading?

I just finished Emma Bull's "War for the Oaks". Picked it up at the thrift store for 80 cents, then hubby discovered it's a signed copy.

I go through phases. Right now I am in a paranormal fiction phase.

So, the book I am currently reading "Darkling" by Yasmine Galenorn is the third in a series about 3 half fae half human sisters, each with a different ability. Thier human half however always messes with thier fae abilities so, they can't always control their powers real well. One is a witch, one a were-cat, and the third was turned into a vampire.

Here is a link to it on Amazon

    Default This week...

All We Have Is All We Need: Daily Steps Toward a Peaceful Life
    by Karen Casey

The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence to Create Miracles by Deepak Chopra

Meditations on Proverbs for Couples by Les & Leslie Parrott

(I am on a Quest, it seems!)

I usually grab a handful of those thin paperback themed mysteries (you know, gardening tips, recipes, etc. intertwined with a murder or two) to toss into my purse for on-the-fly reading @ the Doctor's office, waiting in line @ the store, etc.

    Happy reading!

I just finished a horrible book called "The Execution of Isacc Hayne" which I wouldn not have read if I didn't know the author. I also just read Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover"

I got a call from the library, and the copy of "Atlas Shrugged" I requested is in, so it's next in line.

I go on author binges. If I happen on something I like I go back and read everything I can. Right now I'm reading Aaron Elkins 'Gideon Oliver' mysteries.

Titan: The Life of John D. Rockefeller, Sr.

Oh my, what a good book. I had no idea I would be so taken in.

I am also reading Walden, but I've been kinda pick-up-put-down with books lately. An unheard of thing, but at least I'm not staying up all night for just one more chapter.
