He's got a job,
and he's had it for over a month,
and he's sending christmas presents to the kids,
and he's helping me find his biological dad,
and it was good conversation
Does that really happen you say?....Not with my ex it dont!!!
He actually followed my advice and got a freakin job, said the state was takin child support payments out and everything, Now if they would just get busy sending the fuggin money to me we'd be good huh?!!!

Wow C.J,
That is some fantastic news! Let's hope it stays that way.
My dad was like that when I was younger. My mom stayed on the child support unit's butt so hard that I think you could find her face imprinted on some of their buttcheeks.
Let's hope he keeps flying straight and taking care of the kids.

That's wonderful news, just hope it's true.... can't you contact the state disbursement unit to see what's up with your CS money?

I did contact the CS place and she should be calling me in the morning, however, getting the state of Oregon off their arses to do their job has been pretty much impossible for the last $30 grand, so getting them to do it now is questionable!!!!

I did get in touch with the CS worker, and she informed me that our first child support payment of $220. should be in my account by next week HOLY LORD!!!
This will be the first payment I've seen from him in over 2 years ( I'm not counting the $17. one from last march lol)
When I told my 12 year old daughter yesterday, her mouth dropped wide open, and she said, " nu uh, ma, yer kidding me!!" I said it was true and and she said, "Well it wont last long, don't keep your hopes up!!!"
I must say though, he picked a perfect time to actually pay some child support, right before Christmas and all!!Proud wife to Randy

Awesome!
I'd like to add that it takes the state a couple months to actually start getting the money to me when my ex starts getting payments taken out.

I've had the child support order through the state of oregon for 7 years! No matter where he is working (if he's working) they have yet to keep tabs on him, go after him for arreers, hold him in contempt for arreers, or even take his licence, wich are laws there in oregon for not paying child support!!!!
he averages a different case worker there about every 2 weeks and I have had the same case worker here in Nevada for 7 years!!!
When he is working or moves I have to call and tell them where he is working every time, I might as well be getting paid to do their jobs for them!!
However, it is impossible for them to have any knowledge of the case history when there is a new worker assigned to the case every other week!!
I'm too organized of a person to be able to tolerate laziness when it comes to my childrens rights, health and well being!!!
I am just glad that for the moment, he's got a job and sending some money for them, especially right before the holidays like this!!Proud wife to Randy
