Finally Friday - YIPEE!!!!!! 11-21-08
Well today will probably be pretty full but then I'm off for a week.
I am really excited! I will even have 2 days where the boys are both in school and DH is at work. That almost never happens. As for today I do have to work. I'm probably going to be there a little longer than normal too since I don't want to come back to a bigger mess than I need to. Once work is done there will be the normal daily chores
and such but I'm also hopeing to work on some holiday things. I may start pulling stuff out of the attic or start dusting and oiling some of the shelves in the den, or maybe I'll start sorting through my gift box and wrapping. I'm not quite sure. The evening is a wealth of possibilities and I am looking foward to it! I love Fridays!!!!
Anyone else excited it's Friday???

I'm off later to get the last of the food for Thanksgiving and to the thrift stores in search of some art for the living room walls. Will stop at the coffee shop where ds works and have lunch with him and my mom and then back home to start cleaning out kitchen and study for anatomy and physiology test tomorrow.

Friday's are awesome!
My boss approved for me to work from home today so I am super excited about that because I get to stay in my pj's and work instead of going into the office.
Later this afternoon I plan to go and get the rest of my Thanksgiving shopping done. I hope that this evening I will get to curl up with a book or watch a good movie.

It's a snowy, windy, VERY cold day here and the kids are out of school for a snow day due to slick roads. Dh finished up a two week round of night shift this morning so he's home today too(although he's asleep until noon).
I made breakfast for me and the kids and I have laundry going now.
I need to do up some dishes and then bake something. Not sure what yet, but something.
I'm thinking of making a big pot of veggie soup for supper.
Once dh gets up I think I will work on cleaning up my bedroom. It's a total disaster area. I'm talking one of those messes you see on Clean House LOL. Over the summer when I working full time and those crazy shifts I just let it go and now it's piled up everywhere with clothes and junk. I need to get it all cleaned up so I can start changing it around.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to make it to Walmart to exchange some bacon I bought yesterday (I grabbed maple flavor by mistake) and return some videos I bought that I've decided I don't want now. I also need to get all my stuff ready to work Sun-Wed. at the park. We will have alot of hunters camping and the super wants to hunt so I will be working. I brought all my stuff home with me and will have to get it all back up there!S

I need to drop DH's clothes at the cleaners, and run both dogs to the groomers.Tonight I am going roller skating with the boy scout troop and their families.Should be a real bang up time.Have a good one!!!

I'm also glad it's Friday. I have a busy day & would rather be sleeping. I don't get it. I've been sleeping like a log every night, going to bed early, and I'm still TIRED all the dang time. It's getting annoying.
This morning we have our monthly homeschool group meeting. That pretty much chops the day & makes it impossible to get anything else done. After I pick dd up from school I have to take her back to the foot dr for a re-check. Then we are going to stop at Super WM to find her some slippers. She has to wear open-toed shoes for the next month and the only thing she has are flip flops. It was 16* this morning, so needless to say her feet are freezing lol.
The only thing I have done this morning is buy our tickets for Twilight tomorrow. I haven't gotten dressed. I did have breakfast & coffee
Now I'm off to get dinner in the crockpot & get everyone up & moving so we can get this day over with.

I am with you on the excitement! One more day of working for "the man," and then two lovely days to myself! I don't know why, probably because of the weird spring-like weather we are having, but this week, it has been brutal getting myself up and off to work. I just want to hang out here with the animals and get my house in order. Maybe it is a "nesting" thing....

Yay Friday! I have a busy day ahead of me and I need to get it all done before DH comes home tonight. (he's been out of town all week). I work until 2 then I'll get started on my list...
*(lunch break) Go to Plato's closet and try to sell leather jacket and shoes
*Shoe shopping (if they buy jacket and shoes)
*Grocery shopping for Thanksgiving meals
*Wash sheets
*Iron clothes
*Move computer back to office
This is going to be a busy weekend so I'm hoping to catch up on some sleep tonight.
