Toilet paper. Seriously. I don't think it's appreciated enough. I can truly say I would be a miserable and cranky person without toilet paper.

I am thankful that we have a house to live in even if it is drafty and sometimes leaks.

I am thankful that we have wood to heat the house with - I just hope the other 1/2 comes within the next couple of weeks.

I am thankful DH is working - but will soon be laid off (not thankful for that part).

I am thankful for my IRL friends and my OL friends.

I am thankful for my faith, family and friends. God has been so good to us.
Thankful that we were born here in this wonderful country. Just putting myself in the shoes (if they had any) of someone suffering in a third world country for a second makes me realize that my worst day here is nothing less than what they would dream of as their very best. Just being here is a blessing. I am thankful for those that keep us safe. Thankful for those that are away from their families on Thanksgiving because they are serving and protecting us.

I am thankful for my husband. He has been wonderfully supportive this year of all the things I am doing despite his own hardships. When I knew him as a kid I knew he was special but I had no idea what an amazing man he was going to be. Just this morning I was in the shower and he was standing there talking to me and all I could think about was how I needed to tell him how proud I am of the way he has handled things lately.

I am thankful for my church.
I am thankful for my Jesus....I could go on and on about why I am thankful to the LORD, but I'll just simply say
    "Thank You LORD".

I'm thankful for my faith, my family & friends and that I live in a country that has so much to offer even in the horrid economy.

I am very thankful that our youngest son/child is doing as well as he is. Even with all the down times there is still so much to be thankful for.

I am thankful this year that DH has a job. Last year was a very rough Thanksgiving for me...I had a very hard time finding things to be thankful for!

This year, it is way easy! Life is good and I am thankful for it all!

I am thankful for our health and that my hubby has a stable job and his military retirement. We have a roof over our heads and food in the fridge. For that I am thankful.

I am thankful to God for my family, and our security. I am thankful that we are able to feed and house my kids in such tough times, and grateful for a husband that is a hard worker and always puts his family first. I have been truly blessed.

For wet leaves on my just-cleaned floor - that's DH. He's here, he's healthy, he loves me, and do I ever love him!!
For noise and laughter and chatter and scrapping, and more laughter. That's family and friends.
For a sink full of dishes - that's a good meal lovingly prepared.
For dog hairs on the sofa. That's a rat terrier who brightens a day and entertains us just by being what she is.
For hoots and howls and barks in the night - that's living in the country.
For life and love, smiles and tears, work and play.
    And so much more.
