What's on the agenda today Sat. 11/29/08?

What is everyone up to today?

I've got a turkey in the oven and am getting ready to go roll Dh out of bed. We've got a soccer game later this evening but it's not till 5 so I still have all day before I have an actual commitment.

I'll probably end up working on Christmas presents. I need to find them, as I have them "stashed" everywhere, and start wrapping / labeling them. Once I get everything pulled out I'll have a better idea of how close to done I am.

I know there's 1 or 2 more things I want to order off line as well so I'll probably make sure I do that today.

I'm also WAY behind on the fall fling challenge and even though it's getting obvious I'm not going to make the 1000 I will probably fling a bunch today as I route through all the odd totes where I hide stuff.

One more cup

and I'm off to get DH moving.

Today I'm doing lots of odds and ends. I have some kidney beans in the canner right now. Then I have to finish putting together a wedding album for a client. After that its off to pull all the ceiling vents out and clean them. The kids have been coughing every morning when the heat turns on. I figure getting all that dust out will help a little. This will all be done in between loads of laundry. Then this afternoon I need to make up a batch of pizza sauce and some dough for dinner tonight.

It"s a frosty morning here.I walked on the treadmill, did the pet chores, and did the linens. Today we are putting up the Christmas tree, and our outside decorations.That should take most of the day. Have a good one!

Well, breakfast is done and the dogs have been to the dog park, and I updated my blog.

We are putting up the Christmas tree today and some of the decorations ~ our annual Christmas party is next Saturday so I have to start getting ready for that.

I NEED to finalize the party menu ~ I am so indecisive lately ~ ugh!

Run to the grocery store for a few things.

I should be working on finding the presents I have all over the house and shoved in my car.

I should be cleaning the coffee table and tv area so I can start putting the decorations up.

I should be sorting through my holiday box.

I will most likely stay in my pj's, drink more coffee and eat some turkey and rice soup because I don't feel good.

Lets see...I'm going to listen to it rain all day again today. Almost time to start building the Ark! Lol... I'll probably end up playing on computer until this afternoon. Then if the weather clears enough and they play I will watch the Alabama~Auburn game! Go Tigers!!

Other than that I have nothing planned for the day!!

Tomorrow is DH's 50th birthday but DD has to work tomorrow so we are celebrating today.

I'll be putting out turkey in soon and we'll do a mini Thanksgiving type meal with birthday cake as the desert of course and DD will come over in the afternoon with her best chum who is like a daughter to us and hopefully it will just be a nice relaxing evening and we can map out our do we make candy or cookies this year strategy and just get more detailed info on how college is going.

Other than that, while tending the turkey, I'll do some laundry and clean the bathroom and just enjoy the sunny day.

I am going to my MIL's to get more stuff to move over to her apartment. I should be doing that for most of the day.

I have a few projects that I could work on...if I wanted to.

I have all day to do nothing, which is what I did most of the day yesterday.

dh and oldest son went hunting and i am thinking of going to the xmas fair with my youngest son...check it out...love seeing all the crafts people do

Well its my birthday. What am I doing? Well I already made the bed, fed the cats, cleaned their boxes, emptied the dishwasher, started the wash, took out trash, swiped down the upstairs bathroom. Last night my boys and I went to dinner. Thats about it. I still need to work on the bathroom down stairs, work on the checkbook etc.

I have to run out and get some groceries, as soon as I figure out what we're eating this week. After that I have the whole day to do nothing, though there will probably be housework at some point.

I'll be wrapping the rest of our Christmas presents, journaling a bit, going to Wal*Mart for a paper shredder and then tackling our pile of receipts/bills/papers/etc from the past three years.

Somewhere in there, doing the dishes, taking the dog for a walk, etc. Enjoying my break from holiday-crazy.
