Simply Sunday Plans 11-30-08
Anyone else planning a slow moving day, or is your day packed?
Today's the last day of my vacation so it's back to work tommorrow. I've enjoyed being home this week entirely too much as I always have a REALLY hard time going back to work when I've actually stayed home for my vacation. More motivational fuel to add to paying off the mortgage I guess. I've actually gotten quite a bit accomplished this week without rushing around like a headless chicken and enjoyed myself doing even the routine tasks. Anyhow I got one mire day of that.
So far:
~ played on the computer while drinking :coffe3: and gazing at our lit tree
~ taken care of the dogs
~ looked at some ads
~ made some cherry picking lists
~ sorted through some papers on the desk
~ started a load of laundry
~ had DS#2 strip his bed
Will do:
~ go enjoy DS#1's indoor soccer game
~ cook dnner
~ keep laundr moving
~ charge the camcorder
~ have DS#1 do some work on his science project
Possibilities:
~ order a couple of gifts online
~ run in Wally World on the way home from the soccer game
~ lay on the couch and gaze at the tree
~ sort and wrap gifts
~ brush out the big dog
~ fling a few things
~ mess with the bills while playing REALLY loud Christmas orchestra music
~ dance around the house and wactch my kids faces as they come to the conclusion that mom's lost it
~ go curl back up in bed with DH
....actually the possibilities are endless...guess I'll let you know how it turns out later.
Have a great day all!

I have to take ods back to college today. His Christmas break starts on the 12th of December so thats just 2 weeks. Other then that just general chores. Wont get too much done with taking him back but thats ok. The house is in pretty good shape.

We're about to go to church. After church, my mom and stepfather will be coming into town to take me out to eat for my birthday. (Which isn't until Tuesday) Once we get back I have to wash clothes and finish my paperwork from Friday. Other than the nice little distraction of going out to eat, a typical Sunday all in all.

Today is my baby's 5th birthday. Sniff sniff. So the day started with me bawling in bed trying to convince dh to get "unfixed" so that we could have another baby. After him giving me the speech of "THREE is enough, we're on to the next phase in our lives, blah blah blah" I got up and had some coffee. A little too much, because now I'm jumpy.
We had the youngest open her presents from us and her grandparents, and now she is happily playing with her new toys with her siblings. We are having a big party for her and her preschool friends at a ballpit adventure zone from 2 to 4. Should be a fun time. And best of all, there won't be any kids trashing my house! YAY!
Hope everyone has an awesome day!

I have been shopping non-stop since Friday morning and that will continue today. DH and I have just goten back from a trip to Sam's.
In a few minutes we will be heading back out to a few other shops.
DH will take the kids to workout at the gym this afternoon while I wrap a gift or two.
Tonight we will probably let the kids go out while we hang at home and watch TV.Last edited by Neeley; 11-30-2008 at 12:52 PM.

I'm finally upright after two days of a vicious migraine. Sent my youngest son off to Mass with some neighbors -- hope to be able to drive myself later, but it depends on the effects of the meds I've been taking. Just don't feel safe to drive right now.
DH is out of town but DS2 is still home for Thanksgiving break from college, so I'm hoping to feel well enough to make dinner. He so appreciates homecooking now, after doing his best to avoid the dinner hour while still in high school! (Funny thing -- he admits it!)
So I guess a slow day. I'm coming out of the migraine but feel so weak from the meds. Will try to cook and to make evening Mass. We never put our Christmas decorations up till closer to Christmas, since we always keep them up till "Little Christmas," or Jan 6, when the Wise Men supposedly arrived at the manger and gave the gifts to the Baby Jesus. (Hey, it's a good excuse to postpone!)
No excuse for postponing on the cards, though.... I really should do something about them. And maybe *start* my shopping? Aye aye aye!!

Other than being awakened by a screaming cat this morning it has been a lazy day here. (She gets cranky when she wants to eat.) Still need to get some form of exercise in. Need to finish grocery list. House is cleaned so can relax about that. X-mas decorations are up. Tomorrow will be buying a couple more things for finish outdoor wreath and x-mas cards.
Will be a pretty slow day today. Will try and work on another scarf.
