Horrible Weekend, How about you??
This weekend has been the worst. Wednesday night my dd age 1 woke up with a deep cough a trouble catching her breath, so after a few neb treatments and about 4 hours, she went back to sleep.
Thursday rolls around, dd-1 is feeling better, but we decide not to chance it, by traveling 2 hours away for Thanksgiving. We stay home and put up X-mas decorations.
Friday comes and first thing we hear that day is that dh's grandma isn't doing so well. We take the kids to my mom's house and go to see her in the hospital. By 1:00pm, we are in a car accident. The funny thing is that it is the lady across the street from us that hit us, and we were only a block and half away from home. She hit us head on, Big Diseal Dogde Cummins vs. our little Ford Explorer. The Dogde won, barely any damage. For us however, we can't open any doors on the driver's side, front end is smashed I have pieces laying on the floor in the garage. No one was hurt, thank goodness.
Okay moving onto Saturday, dh finds out that grandma is doing really bad, anitbiotics aren't working, she isn't eating, etc. She is scheduled to be moved to the hospice room in the hospital on Sunday. I stay home for fear of another accident, still shaken a little. I also have to go the police station, to pick my license and get a ticket, because we didn't have current insurance on the explorer, check with insurance company and that was expired about 2 months ago!!! Don't know how that one slipped by me, but I now have a $710.00 ticket because of that accident.
Sunday, dh's grandma is moved to hospice, they are giving her about a week tops. This is very hard for dh, but he lost his grandpa bout 7 years ago and now his grandma, still struggling with that a little. Dh's mom makes a small Thanksgiving meal, first one all weekend.
So how was everyone else's weekend??? Hopefully they went better than mine.
