Congrats!! I can't imagine how much nicer it will be for you to have all those problems solved. I am a wimp when it comes to mouth pain.

Oh congratulations! I'm sure you are ready for that to get done and excited you won't have to wait too long. We hear about a lot of people around here going there for dental work and we have a friend that goes down there (since we are on the Tx coast) to have all his and his families dental work done all the time and DH and I have discussed it many times thinking we may just start doing the same. It's a shame you can go there and have good quality work done for a 1/4 of the price they charge here. It's definitely something we are looking into.

I hope it all works out for you and you get rid of all the pain and stuff you've been dealing with once and for all.

From my figures it will cost me anywhere from $12,000. to $23,000. here in the states to have the remaining 16 teeth pulled and full dentures upper and lower! There it is going to run me about $850.00 to a possible $1020.00!!!
And no one will get to call me a "Meth Mouth" anymore, just because of my genetics!!!

We're going in January for the same purpose. Not to have teeth pulled, I hope, just general maintenance. I might need a root canal (ugh!). We used to spend the winter near the border and are very pleased with the quality of the dental work. We also buy medications there for about 1/3 of the US cost. And heartworm and flea-tick prevention for the dog. Also single-malt scotch for DBIL.

Good for you. Taking good care of your teeth is a wise investment. Glad to hear you found a reasonable way to pay for it. Go for it!

Congrats! I envy you being able to get it done. I need to have mine done but no way possible, at least right now. I hate not smiling. Everyone thinks I'm 'witchy'.
