So much leftover at the store
I went to the Wal-mart today and there is so much Black Friday sales stuff still on sale. The still had shelves of $5 dolls and bins and bins of PJs. The still had movies that were on sale. Lots of stuff that said "while supplies last". Everything I remember form the add they still had ( didn't check out the electronics department) The store seemed over stuffed.
Is it like this all over or just in my hard hit by the economy town?

It's like this here too. I went to Wal-Mart after the "doorbuster" deals and they had the same price!

This is why I don't get why people have to be there Friday morning at 5am to get the deals. Most stores extend the Black Friday "After Thanksgiving" sales until the end of Sunday.
I guess Darwin isn't working hard enough with some people.
I'm glad your town still had some deals, though! We went shopping yesterday and Wal-Mart had some awesome deals, but we didn't buy much. We got a panini grill, a compact grill for SIL/BIL (so they can make two burgers or two pieces of chicken and it stores in a drawer), along with a 1lb weighing scale for me that was $6 and some batteries for around the house. We spent about $56.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Our Walmart seemed to have more leftover this year than what I have seen leftover in years past. I did go out Friday morning to Walmart and Target, in my area there didn't seem to be as many shoppers as I have seen in years past.

Wow it seems to be common place this year. Must be the economy?
I have bought some Black Friday toys way after the weekend. If they were special purchases at the store ( ie while supplies last) the price tend to stay the same until gone ( even after people have returned them).
I'm betting if they still have some after the holidays they will go on clearance. Makes you wonder what the $5 Barbie and the $5 Pj sets would be on clearance for.

For the past couple of years I have gone to Wal-Mart on Friday afternoon and they have always had doorbusters left. Just one more reason not to wake up early.

At our walmart they still had some movies left, but were out of the jeans and the electronic stuff. Guess it just depends on what you're looking for. I wasn't that impressed with the sales this year, definitely not enough to get up at 3 am.
