    Default I am SO ticked!

I bought something at www.terrysvillage.com Cute cast iron snowman muffin pans -- but AFTER the sale, there was a link to "Save $10 on your next order"... who doesn't like coupons???

Long story short... after I clicked the link I got a -- Thank you for signing up at EasySavers... WHAT??? There was NO back button because it was a separate page from the order.

I did a quick dig and seems as if EasySavers/Leisure America is a nice lil credit card sucking scams...

I am going to have to 'fess up to the Old Man (card is in his name) and go to the bank and cancel it lovely
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Can you complain to the BBB. I would at least try.

~You should also be able to file a report with your credit card. I had to do this with an unauthorized AOL charge once. The cc company investigated and removed the charge. I think Easysavers will have to provide some kind of proof that you knew what you were agreeing to when you clicked the save $10 link. They won't be able to do it.~

This happen to me about a year ago. I called the company right after it happened to cancel my "subscription". The person said I was not registered yet since it just happened. She said I would have to wait for the e-mail and then cancel. Well my computer gets rid of spam so I never received the e-mail and about 6 to 8 weeks later I was charged the amount. I totally forgot about it by then and then remembered what it was when I called our bank.

I called the company back and they canceled the subscription and refunded my money.

Hope this helps alittle. Good luck.

I really hate those sites on the internet that leads us to believe that we are saving on our next order only to find out we have just signed up for a service/item that we would never ever consider. ever. Truth in business is rare on the internet.

And its Terry Village, I like there stuff too!

I would shoot a email off to terry village, just reminding them that we do not like this sort of thing.

I would dispute the $10 off from Terrysvillage as well! Just print off the ad and send it in with the dispute form.
