newbie from China
Hi all! I'm new here, just wanted to say hi... not sure what else to say, other than I'm loving the community I'm already sensing here and excited to learn and share. I'm especially interested in simple living which just seems to spill out as 'green' and 'frugal' whether I intend for it to or not. I live in rural China where I find it surprisingly easy to live simply, to live sustainably, and to live with joy. Ask anything you'd like, I'd love to get to know everyone.

to the village so glad you could join us. My husband was in China several times a couple of years ago. He was in the northern part in a city called Harbin. Everybody that knows where that is laughs and says that is a cold place. He was there in winter when they built the ice castles. I hope you continue to enjoy the village.

Welcome! I, too, choose to live with joy. Are you native to China?
Spiritual:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made." Please... respect life.
Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!
MY BLOG: glorybug.wordpress.com
1. Keep on writing.
2. Get some balance in my life.
3. Lose weight. Hopefully 5# this year. (9.5 pounds right now! Yay, Me!!)
4. Continue to be looking for how God wants to use me this year.

thanks!
Thanks for all the warm welcomes! To all the questions and comments, I know all the Chinese cities you all mentioned (Harbin IS cold!), I've been here since January, and we came over to work for an American company but because of paperwork + some other problems, for right now we're just studying Chinese with the hopes of doing business in the future (my husband's a business guy, I just like people and culture :-D)
